A lovely couple visiting Hakodate from Germany.
This was their first time in Hakodate
and their first time experiencing wearing a kimono.
From the moment they arrived,
they were very excited
about the prospect of wearing kimonos.
The lady chose a
gorgeous red kimono.
She also brought along
her own favorite folding fan.
The fan complemented the red kimono beautifully
and served as a wonderful accent
in their photographs.
The gentleman wore a
sophisticated navy blue kimono and *hakama* trousers.
Standing side-by-side,
the balance of red and navy hues
created a truly stunning traditional Japanese look.
After getting dressed,
they enjoyed a photo session
amidst the antique atmosphere of Hakodate Meijikan.
The historic building and the kimonos
paired perfectly together,
resulting in striking photos
captured in the light streaming through the windows.
They looked like they were having a wonderful time
snapping photos together
on their smartphones.
Afterward, they headed outside
while still dressed in their kimonos.
Strolling through the streets of Hakodate,
they enjoyed their first sightseeing trip to the city
and their first kimono experience together.
Wearing a kimono while traveling
creates a special memory
that goes beyond ordinary sightseeing.
